Day Care
Fully Licensed 5* Doggy Day Care in Manchester City Centre
Our transparent, spacious, cage-free play area is perfect for providing dogs the physical & mental stimulation they need. As we all know they are very social creatures and the experience of spending long periods of time with others is priceless in terms of their wellbeing. With over 2000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play areas you can be assured that while you are busy with other things your dog is having fun.
A canine first aid trained member of staff is always on site encouraging safe and exciting play. All dogs are required to be fully up to date with the relevant vaccinations before enrolling in day care, so you can rest assure your dog will be in a healthy and safe environment. We accept big and small dogs however all dogs must pass a temperament test before being accepted. We do ask that males are neutered by 12 months and females in season cannot attend for the duration.
We are open 8.00am -6.00pm, Monday – Friday and offer full or half days (half day sessions are 5 hours at the times of 8am-1pm or 1pm -6pm)
Our dog daycare is licensed by Manchester City Council. License holder: Elkie Davies @ The Barkside Mcr. Animal License Number: 272001
“The Barkside is such a find in the city centre, the staff are amazing and it’s obvious they love all the dogs and have their best interest in mind. Biscuit practically pulls my arm out it’s socket to get in there in the morning. Thanks for all your hard work.” – Meg
